Angeline Kin
Art Psychotherapist / Counsellor


Angeline is a registered Art Psychotherapist with the Australian New Zealand Creative Arts Therapists’ Association and is a board member of the Art Therapists’ Association of Singapore. She holds a Masters degree in Art Therapy from LASALLE College of the Arts/ Goldsmiths University, London.

Angeline’s clinical experience includes clients of all ages & backgrounds addressing various issues: Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Self-Harm, Suicidal Ideation, Suicide Bereavement, Grief/Loss, Chronic Stress, Anger Management, Childhood Abuse, Trauma & Complex PTSD. Her integrative therapy follows the framework of ACT - Acceptance and Commitment therapy as well as Trauma-informed Art Psychotherapy. She believes in a holistic phased approach creating ‘safeness’, reworking narratives for integration & healing and building a new life of resilience aligned to one’s values. She draws from: Traumatology, Sensorimotor Art Therapy, Neuroscience, Child Development, Attachment, the Psychology of Creativity and Expressive Therapies Continuum (benefits of different art processes & media).

She runs/ has run various Art Therapy Workshops: Introduction to Art Therapy - for Trauma Intervention (AHD); Parents Supporting Children/Teens with Crohns & Colitis (CCSS); Grief Counselling; Creative Growth & Mental Wellbeing (Single Mothers Support, Youth at Risk, Depression & Bi-Polar Support) and Parenting Teens Workshops (ACS).

She believes in empowering her clients to heal, grow and self-actualise through this holistic experiential therapy so that they can live rich, full & meaningful lives. She offers Counselling or Art Psychotherapy, tailored to meet each client’s individual needs. She is trained in: Psychodynamic, Attachment, Sensorimotor Art Therapy (Healing trauma with Guided Drawing), Cognitive Behavioural (solution focused brief therapy, and ACT) and Relational (Compassion Focused Therapy, Person-Centred Existential Counselling).
